![]() We are looking forward to Canyonfest 2010! Last year, we didn't have enough volunteers to pull off the event, but this year we are looking forward to the best Canyonfest ever!
Canyonfest is the primary fundraising event for our community, and is our historic main event. All our other events, from the Easter Egg hunt to the Community Cleanup, the Halloween Parade and the Holiday Hayride cost KCA more than we bring in from these events. All of our events are to benefit our neighborhood's residents, not to make money. We are a non-profit community service organization and at the end of each year we just want to break even. Your help is essential. KCA is open to everyone, even if you don't live here. If you are a Kittredge resident (you don't have be a property owner, a lot of folks rent but still live here), a business proprietor, or just someone who loves Kittredge and our annual Canyonfest, please contact us with what kind of help you'd be interested in. Cheers!

![]() Jeff, I tried contacting Kara Flatley for the sponsors information we talked about last night. I was not able to post through this forum. Let me know what I'm doing wrong.
Thanks, Tom |

Hi Tom, Your post came through just fine! Welcome to the forum! I had to turn off allowing new members to register for the time being. From last night to this afternoon, we already had about a dozen spammers register. I had it set so they couldn't post without my permission though. I need to set aside a half day (or full evening) or so to purchase, download, install and configure the latest version of this forum software to more effectively block those spammers.

![]() My lovely better half forgot about this evening's meeting until she got her email blast Saturday, and I am informed that we are hosting guests this evening and will not be attending the meeting.
Report: (A) I have been in contact with acts regarding technical requirements for sound (B) The kid's prizes have arrived! We got way over the minimum 150 pieces (it was over 200 IIRC) for around $91 and change.

![]() Here are some photos taken by Virginia Grantier, reporter for the Canyon Courier. These aren't the ones that will be in the newspaper, they sent a professional photographer out for that. These are from her personally:
